I've got this very same message with a less than 10GB hard disk. Perhaps can we
guess that this is related to the BSD partitionning since I also use a *BSD
OS, but, actually, this doesn't hurt :

Disk /dev/hda: 16708 cylinders, 16 heads, 63 sectors/track
Units = sectors of 512 bytes, counting from 0

Device Boot Start End #sectors Id System
/dev/hda1 63 40319 40257 83 Linux
/dev/hda2 40320 302399 262080 82 Linux swap
/dev/hda3 * 302400 4397903 4095504 a5 BSD/386
/dev/hda4 4397904 7573103 3175200 5 Extended
                start: (c,h,s) expected (1023,15,63) found (1023,255,63)

[other informations skipped]

Rereading your message, I found that you are using RAID hardware. Are
you also reading RAID software for the Linux kernel ?
