Problem in Caldera Open Linux booting

hmm, did it ever work ?

or is this just after installing COL 2.4 ?

I had never problems of this kind, but I had some
geometry problems due to an old BIOS combined
with a large disk. I was not able to boot from
partitions beyond the magic 1024 cyl border.
