This would work with GRUB errors, but nopt with BIOS errors. Lets
assume, the BIOS spits out some error messages (like unable to boot
from CDROM) but boots anyway (from hard disk in this case).

However, I am not sure, if there is any adequate sollution to this
problem. My suggestion to add a 'Hotkey' to either break to GRUBs
command promt or to delay clearing of the screen until the user has
read the messages could do a bit to a solve it.

But I know it still is not perfect. It will not give you any hint,
there is an error, worth looking at it. Having a hot key to break to
GRUBs command line could open additional security matters.

Having a Hotkey to delay the cls() does not open additional security
issues and should be simple to add. I would add this code to the cls()
routine, it is probably less than 10 lines of code. It does not need
any error code passing infrastructure, so I would not argue about
unnessecary complexity.
