Ok, I see. That's quite strange. Could you investigate if the same
thing happens even if Gate A20 is not touched? You can do that by just
removing the call for the function "gateA20" in the file
"stage2/common.c". Of course, GRUB with this modification doesn't work
properly in many aspects, though.
