Category: Booting Severity: Major
Priority: Normal Bug Group: Software Error
Resolution: None Assigned to: None
Status: Open Reproducibility: Every Time
Component Version: 0.92
Summary: cannot boot OpenBSD directly
Original Submission: GRUB cannot boot later versions of OpenBSD directly.
That's because
GRUB assumes the old booting protocol, so OpenBSD kernel complains of
it. Even though you can work around the problem by chainloading the
boot loader of OpenBSD, that's not desirable, because you cannot control
how to boot OpenBSD, including netboot.
