I recently discovered that there is a new version of the Multiboot
specification.
Can somebody explain to me what's the point of including APM information in
the Multiboot information structure? To use APM, the OS must switch to
Real/Virtual 8086 mode and call int 15h, at which point it gets the APM
information in registers anyway.
