I have no cvs access here, so I cannot give an answer .... but 1.5KB
should be enough. I used less than 100 chars, but as I mentioned, the
limit was not the size of the command line, but the number of parameter
in the line.
And, sorry, I don't know if this is a grub or a kernel thing.
