Thank you for answer. I thought I could use just those first 512 bytes
(MBR) of harddrive without modifying the filesystem. Now it seems I will
need to reserve some 200 kB for grub on each drive (I plan it to use in
computer labs -- cca 60 computers). It would be ok.
But can I force grub to download the menu file from network?
