if it's possible, how do you call it in menu.lst ?

I don't know the details, but I think you can load an image as an

i try (with 0.93 too)
title floppyimg
        root (nd)
        kernel /memdisk initrd=/boot/floppy.img

title floppyimg
        root (nd)
        kernel /memdisk
        append initrd=/boot/floppy.img

title floppyimg
        root (nd)
        kernel /boot/floppy.img

and it doesn't work. (try also kernel --type=floppy ...)
it loads memdisk which try to load a linux kernel and freezes.

is there a special kernel or an option (doesn't see it in help or faq/manual) ?

maybe a good thing to add to faq or manual if find it.
