Summary: Grub 0.93 refuses to boot from Highpoint 370/2 IDE gives out Error 21

Original Submission: I have a soyo P4 mainboard which has a on board Highpoint
370/372 RAID IDE Controller, even when using the controller in NON RAID mode,
Grub 0.93 just craps out with an Error 21 after trying to load stage 2, it's
remarkable to mention that i solved the problem by rolling back to Grub 0.92
that seems to handle the hpt controller in the right way, if i boot with a grub
floppy into the grub console i can see the hard disk connected to the hpt
controller detected as hd0

the disk is used to boot linux, and has 3 partitions (boot, swap, root) formatted
with ext3 FS.
