Activate Logical Partitions |

Hi,
i've bought a new hard disk today which i've partitioned in the following
way:
/dev/hda1 -> linux boot
/dev/hda2 -> linux root
/dev/hda3 -> swap
/dev/hda5 -> linux home
/dev/hda6 -> windows xp
/dev/hda7 -> windows documents
linux works fine this way, but i was not able to start windows. When i try
to start windows i'm
immediately at the grub console again. when adding a "makeactive" he tell me
that he can't
ativate this partition (i think because it's in a logical one)
my menu.lst:
default 0
timeout 8
title linux
kernel (hd0,0)/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda3 vga=0x31a hdg=ide-scsi
hdh=ide-scsi h
dhlun=0 splash=silent showopts
initrd (hd0,0)/initrd
title Windoze
root (hd0,5)
makeactive
chainloader +1
i hope you can help me solving this problem ;)
regards
Frank Leitner
