I double checked all my code before I release this patch. The dhcp
implementation was just the same as the Etherboot-5.3.6 then. So, I
think it should work without the dhcp-hack
(http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=6690 ) now.
The dhcp problem on tg3 cards may be caused by its driver:

Now all the drivers in my patch are from Etherboot-5.3.6, which should
have fixed it :-).

BTW, the drivers I have tested (with grub-diskless-patch-3):
        1. eepro100:    Intel PRO 100 SP on IBM Thinkpad T22
                                Intel 82551QM on Tyan i7501
        2. e1000: Intel 82545EM on Tyan i7501
        3. 3c90x: 3COM 3c905B-TXNM
        4. rtl8139: RTL8139D
Hackers who have sis900 based cards may check the new driver in my
patch. It has been greatly changed since Etherboot-5.3.5, may be the
driver can work in GRUB :).

Thank you for your effort. I'd like to apply your patch, but I'd also 
like to ask the current status of your patch. I think there were some 
reports about a dhcp problem in your patch. Did you make any change for 
it?
