make: don't know how to make pre_stage2.

I encountered a compilation failure of the Grub-0.94 on a recently installed OpenBSD 3.4 system.

The configure script run properly (with no arguments) but make fail at the beginning of the build process:

 

make  all-recursive
Making all in netboot
Making all in stage2
make: don't know how to make pre_stage2.

 

My system runs gcc 2.95.3 and as 2.11.2.
I don't know where to look.
