Telling GRUB to boot back to the same OS |

Hi All,
Is there any way to tell GRUB from within an OS
(Linux/Windows) to boot back to the same OS?
For example:
Lets say I have GRUB set up to boot Win98, WinXP and
Linux, with Linux as the default boot. Assume I am
currently logged onto WinXP. Is it possible to tell
GRUB to boot into WinXP for the next boot? Subsequent
reboots should make GRUB boot to the default(Linux in
this case) unless told otherwise.
Thanks in advance
Krishna Monian
