Ok, so heres what i got, i have to hard drives, the
first is one paration, NTFS windows XP (this is the
boot disk for windows), however, my second drive has
Two partions on it, first is the NTFS (for extra
storage, it has no system files) and the second
partition is for red hat linux fedora core 2. now the
grub did not detect windows NTFS on the first drive,
but it was marked as other. now with that being said
the only thing that was in place in the grubs
commandsa for it was as follows

rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

However it would not boot, it wouldn't do anything, no
error message, it was like just hung up on a bad
command or couldn't find something? i also try this
other systax i got from the manual

unhide (hd0,0)
unhide (hd0,1)
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
makeactive
boot

thats the one out of the manual, it also just show the
commands on the screen and nothing was happening, no
message, and the hard drive light wasn't flashing or
anything.

i also tryed this one

rootverify
makeactive
chainloader +1

once again nothing, but also tryed this

map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)

i know that one was for a non first disk boot, but
ithough i would try, once again no proveal. PLEASE
PLEASE help me. if you need extra information please
let me know, becuase right now i can't access windows
and thats where must of my media is and i dont want to
reformat the drives, please help me get the GRUB to
work.

                           Thanks in advance,
                                      Travis Phillips
