Hello Adrian,

a little success.

rather than /dev/sda  I have tried with /dev/sda1 that is the fat16
partition.

emu -boot c -hda /dev/sda1

and qemu opens the screen :-)
but with the error

Booting from Hard Disk....

Non -system Disk or Disk error
Replace and strike when ready
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
