To reproduce create two files in /boot/grub: hello.lua with contents: #!lua print( "Hello" ) hello_world.lua with contents: #!lua grub.run( "source $prefix/hello.lua" ) print( "World!" ) then boot grub and run "source $prefix/hello_world.lua" Expected output: Hello World!
