This is part of an attempt to install grub2 to the software raid array from inside a chroot.

I was trying to mount the boot partition on the chrooted root partition, both on them logical volumes on a software raid device. grub seems to be having problems with the boot device though. The vg in question corresponds to newdebian below.

I don't know if this is a real bug, or really what the relevant info is to include, so I'm just dumping some info here.
