Details:
I noticed that grub2 in several distributions can't display some Chinese
characters -- they are displayed as '?' with a border.
For Fedora, this issue happened after I upgraded to Fedora 23 from Fedora 22.
This issue also happened in Debian 8 unstable and openSUSE Tumbleweed.
How to reproduce:
* Use default unicode.pf2 font file
* Edit /boot/grub2/grub.conf, add "菜单"("menu") characters in any menu
entry
* Reboot to see if "菜" is displayed as '?'
