Hi, 

Thanks for the bug report.

Could you send the output of the configure script and the relevant
section of the test output (lines leading up to the FAILures).  

You might try recompiling that directory without optimisation (cd
vector; make clean; make CFLAGS="-g -O0" check) to see if that makes
any difference.  If you can look at the failure with the debugger that
would also be a great help.
