Thank you,
I think it worked, it passed all other tests. Does it mean it is safe to install now?
Best Regards,
Igor.

I am trying to build gsl-1.9 for Mac OS 10.3.9, Power PC G4. Because of
the optimization bug in gcc-3.3 I have just recently installed
gcc-4.1.2. Unfortunately, the gcc-4.1.2 build did not pass all tests
either, so likely the reason is yet another bug in gcc. However, I
would still like to report this bug to you, quite possibly it is not
all compiler's fault.

Hello,

Thanks for the email.

As you say, that may be a problem with the compiler on Mac OS.

One suggestion: you could try editing the file config.h and commenting
out the line "#define HAVE_PRINTF_LONGDOUBLE 1" then do make clean &&
make && make check, in case it only affects the use of long double.
If that works, please let us know.
