[Bug-gsl] Optimization level problem

Using gcc (GCC) 4.3.0, on Mac OS X 10.5.2, make check fails in the  
gsl-1.10/sort/ directory.  The makefile in the gsl-1.10/sort/  
directory must be modified so that 'CFLAGS = -g -O' (rather than  
'CFLAGS = -g -O2').  Then gsl-1.10 passes make check.
