I've tried to create a patch for this, and seem to have hit a problem which I've
put on the autoconf list.
However, I posted the issue to the gcc-help mailing list, as I believe this is a
gcc bug. A gcc developer advised I file this as a bug, so I have since done that.

If I can come up with a patch I will do, but hopefully the gcc developers can
fix this. Though I can't imagine AIX is high on their priority list. There seems
to be several definitions in the IBM header file float.h that are missing from
the gcc header file.
I've offered the gcc developers access to AIX hardware if they need it.
