Hi,
I am trying to build gsl libraries for use with MinGW so that I can
develop wxWidgets applications in Code::Blocks that contain gsl's math.
I have downloaded some beta versions; however, I did not keep track of
which are beta and which are release.
I have read that by using --build=x86_64-amd-mingw32 on
./configure's command line I can obtain libraries suitable for my goal.
But this option (and i686-amd-mingw32) fail to build. I have tried
several variations of --build, --host, and --target containing these
types and all fail seemingly the same. I have attached the
configure.log and the stdout stream from make (make.log).
The gcc that I am using under MicroSoft's bash shell for Windows 10
education is the latest version, but as I said it might be the beta or
the release version. I will also suggest that the gcc maintainers
investigate this; I expect that your group and their group might work
together on this one.
Thank you,
Byron
