These are all minor things:
1) The tar file should unpack into gv-3.6.0, not just gv. I'm kind of
puzzled how that could happen, since I thought automake automatically
included the version number.
1.1) The tar file should not contain autom4te.cache.
2) Still get the warning about gettext. Maybe best not to declare it at all?
if gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -DNON_BLOCKING_IO -DGV_CODE -DGV_CODE
-DGV_LIBDIR=\"/usr/local/gnu/lib/gv\" -g -O2 -MT ps.o -MD -MP -MF
".deps/ps.Tpo" -c -o ps.o ps.c; \
then mv -f ".deps/ps.Tpo" ".deps/ps.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/ps.Tpo"; exit 1; fi
ps.c:173: warning: conflicting types for built-in function 'gettext'
3) In the File menu, "Reopen" should be "Reload" for consistency.
4) After compiling, I ran gv as a test like this, from the top directory
of the distribution (the one containing configure.ac, etc.):
src/gv ~/whatever.pdf
After quitting gv, a temp file was left in the directory:
gv_419f5df3_1_.small2e.pdf.tmp
That's all for now ...
Cheers,
karl
