Details:

with commit http://tinyurl.com/yea27v9 a new check was introduced into
configure.ac which breaks the build against xaw3d version 1.5 from
ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/widgets/Xaw3d/R6.3/.

I've reverted that commit, gv build and works just fine. Is it really
necessary to force the use of version 1.5E ?
