And/Or for the next release.  Features that would take time to
implement (libchannel?) could wait a bit, but bug fixes should be put

I very much like the way the gimp does this: For every bug and feature request, there is a field "target milestone", which is when they expect to fix/implement it.

Personally, I have some things which should be in 1.0, from a user perspective. I don't actually know if they already work, as I haven't used a Hurd system for some time, so delete items which are already done. ;-)

- mozilla and/or mozilla firefox should run.
- gnome and/or kde should run.
- probably OpenOffice.org as well.
- decent network support (including dhcp).

Feature requests (possibly for after 1.0):

- user space firewall support. (using normal programs, or even scripts, to decide what to do with network packets.)
