What experiences do you already have? What are you especially interested
in? I can't go to such lengths to simply assign some project to you.
I was going through some older mails and I found a GSoC proposal http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-hurd/2007-03/msg00101.html to make GNU Mach use more up to date device drivers https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?5488
I felt that I could contribute to it but need some information on what drivers are considered priority.
Also since others had already expressed that their interest of working on it http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-hurd/2006-11/msg00076.html
I was wondering if some particular implementation methodology was finalised upon?
I have done some simple device driver programming, etc.. and have studied it from a more academic point of view. I have tons of patience and willingness to learn :-)And also note that we won't have too many resources available to teach or
guide you -- but we will of course try to answer if you ask specific
questions. (And we might even try for less specific ones, though.)
