Hi,I read the code of pfinet, and find the implementation of TCP/IP stack is almost the same as the linux.
It's a very good news for me:-) I almost don't need to spend time on it.The problem is how pfinet and network device driver in gnumach build the connection. pfinet uses libtrivfs to build the translator, but I haven't find any code which could connect to the network driver in gnumach.
Then I look into the code of gnumach, the interesting part I found is the packet filter.The packet received by the driver is spread by the packet filter, which specifies the destination of every copy of the packet. So I guess as long as the right packet filter is set, the kernel will send the packet to pfinet. But, unfortunately, I cannot find any code in hurd which tries to set the packet filter.
