No. *You* are the one who think we should have to get everybody else fix
their applications instead of implementing the common behavior.  I may
be wrong, but if I report the bug like I did originally in the thread
and say "btw it's a Hurd system", they'll probably just answer "fix your
damn useless OS".

The other reason is that I could actually change the group and be done
with the issue I was having with gcc, so I don't really care, but
thought it would be useful to report it so other people don't lose
their time wondering why this is happening, and so maybe something gets
eventually fixed somewhere, be it in Hurd or gcc.
