I think this man page is simply outdated. Though I couldn't find any
information on this with Google (and didn't want to dig into the code),
a short test seems to confirm that mapping all ports with ioperm() is
perfectly possible here on Linux 2.6.32. (I didn't actually try to write
the ports though...)
