Dear all,
First, thank you a lot for your work !!!!!!!!!
Second, sorry but my english is not very good.
And now a few things I notice on
<http://home.hccnet.nl/d.ingamells/indent_17.html#SEC17>
when I trieded to understand something in the 82 options of Indent ;-)
1) In the list of "all the options for indent, alphabetized by short option" :
`-bfda' comes after `-dn'
`-cdb' comes after `-cdn' [this can be true if the ending `n' is
skiped ]
`-din' comes after `-dn' [this can be true if the ending `n' is
skiped ]
`-lcn' comes after `-ln' [this can be true if the ending `n' is
skiped ]
`-npro' comes after `-orig'
missing :
-nbbb
--no-blank-lines-before-block-comments
Do not prefer to break long lines before boolean operators.
See section 1.9 Breaking long lines.
2) In the list of "options alphabetized by long option" :
In the HTML source : for some options, tabs are used instead of spaces .
An exemple : "--no-space-after-for -nsaf"
missing :
`--Bill-Shannon' `--blank-before-sizeof'
`-bs'
`--comment-line-lengthn'
`-lcn'
incomplete:
--brace-indent -bli[N]
3) Some comments :
About the ending "n" as number of some options :
Why a "n" lower case ? A "N" upper case will be more comprehensible. Especially
for the man. This was used only once in this doc. See last exemple.
All over the documentation there is a mix with this "N". Sometime it is simply
skiped sometimes not. I think its bad ;-)))
for exemple :
"If you use the `-bl' option, you may also want to specify the `-bli' option."
<http://home.hccnet.nl/d.ingamells/indent_9.html#SEC9>
"bliN" !!!!
"The option `-ipN' can be used to set the extra offset per paren."
<http://home.hccnet.nl/d.ingamells/indent_11.html#SEC11>
it's nice ;-)
Again, thanks for the work,
Regards,
--
Daniel
