hello.
can you please change the text on 
http://lilypond.org/stable/Documentation/topdocs/out-www/INSTALL.html#download-binaries
dealing with mandrake installation ?

the official way of installing a rpm is not to use rpm, but urpmi.
so, can you change :

http://rpmfind.net/linux/mandrake/cooker/contrib/RPMS/.

in order to install lilypond, use urpmi lilypond as root, with the 
proper urpmi sources configurated. please refer on mdk documentation.

and, people should never use cooker rpm on a stable distibution.
people skilled enough to recompile their version of lilypond know how to 
do. the others should not do it.
