Wow, Is Texinfo 4.7 out?  Anyway, I saw that in the current CVS version 
of "lilypond-book.itely" the address@hidden trick is used widely.

If Texinfo 4.7 supports the new @LaTeX{} command, perhaps the file 
should be updated.
