I have downloaded the lilypond-2.10.33-1.darwin-x86.tar.bz2 and unpacked it.
This is supposed to be the intel version which I believe I need for my brand
new
MacBook. When, in a shell, I navigated to LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin
and started ./lilypond, it came up with:
gunther-clasens-macbook:bin gunther$ ./lilypond
-bash: ./lilypond: cannot execute binary file
When I select lilypond in a file browser and click on More info...
in the preview pane, I get:
Kind: Application (PowerPC).
Am I doing something really stupid or is there a PPC binary in the x86 package?
