This is definitely a VFAQ and it deserves its own page which send
interested potential users to.

I think it has been enough variety of responses to the question (from
RTFM to very long explanations) as to compose an unified answer we can
link to, easily understandable. It could include examples of typical,
already-answered emails.

My aim here is only to give interested people the best possible answer.
