Nicolas,

This looks really good and would have save me considerable time.

Thank you for the pointer.

Lilypond team: Could the info in the article or at least a pointer be added to

        http://ivo.bouwmans.name/lilypondleopard/

Lilypond team: the info in the docs at

http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.12/Documentation/user/lilypond-program/Point-and-click#Point-and-click

Should at least mention that this is not the best way or is not intended to work for Mac OS X.

Again, a pointer to or inclusion of the article below would be even better.

I am using the following in a shell script to start lilypond

export LYEDITOR='bbedit +%(line)s %(file)s'
echo $LYEDITOR
cd '/Users/Shared/MainMusicFolder/lilypond files'
/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/lilypond -- verbose -fpdf
'/Users/Shared/MainMusicFolder/lilypond files/jinglebells.ly'

This is not the way to go on Mac OS X. Instead, you should define
a handler for the textedit protocol.
