Comment #33 on issue 887 by JohnKSellers: Non-ASCII characters in textedit
URIs should be percent-encoded

I am not part of this group, but have had exactly the problem described
here under Windows 7. I am using VIM, and have successfully used it in the
past in older versions of Lilypond without this problem on older windows
systems.
This time I exactly followed the directions in 2.2.2 of Lilypond 2.12.3.
This is different from what I did in the past where I took the lilypond.vim
files and manually installed them in vim.
The 2.2.2 instructions are incorrect on one point as the .vim file is _vim
under windows 7.
Also there are either obsolete or undocumented files in Lilypond 2.12.3 at
C:/Program\ Files\ (x86)/LilyPond/usr/share/lilypond/current/vim
I can help a very small amount as
:syn on
:compiler lilypond
seem to help a small amount in vim.
But there is no documentation that I can easily find for auto indenting,
setting up vim for adobe (wherever this is done), function key set up, and
compiling from vim...all of which is purportedly supported by the
lilypond.vim files under
C:\Program Files (x86)\LilyPond\usr\share\lilypond\current\vim
