)I've re-opened #1562, James, and made note of the temporary
)workaround:
)avoid \sans til the bug gets squashed.

I think it is more specific than that - it maybe 'sans font' related but the 
other reporter found his issue in chordmode which prints chord names which are 
in 'sans'.

It may also be something entirely different - just so as to not confuse the bug.
