I've been doing some looking at this.  It seems that images are inserted  
into docs like notation using the @sourceimage syntax.  Can't find this in  
the texinfo manual, so don't know what it does.  For the web files, the  
syntax varies a little, but one is @imageId.  I'm wondering whether  
@sourceimage uses a different directory syntax?
