There have been several bugs related to slurs, Luc. I believe your may
be related to Issue 379
<http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=379>: ugly slur with
key signature and linebreak, or possibly to Issue 163
<http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=163>: huge (ugly)
slur (both phrasing and normal), particularly at comment #10.
The whole issue of slurs has had a lot of development recently, so one
can hope that this discussion may bring some suggestions.
