It's not a pressing issue. I just didn't find "q" in the documentation about repetitions, so I had to write long strings of repeated chords. I was told on the "bug" list about "q" and warned about this bug. "q" made my files much shorted and easier to read. So I'm trying to help with the issue with "q" so that it becomes a respected and properly documented part of the Lilypond input.
