Judging by kievan notation engravings i've seen on the net (for example  
http://www.synaxis.info/psalom/notation/russian/kievan/Suprasl_demo.pdf)  
there should be no time signature in Kievan notation (kievanStaff context  
should be modified).  I'm not sure, though; it would be good if someone  
confirmed this.
