I disagree.  Issue 2338 refers the (now poorly-named) osx-universal version  
which is only for x86, while this refers specifically to the PPC version.   
I would consider them to be two different code bases, so bugs for each  
should be treated separately.

We have confirmation that the PPC version works, so let this be Verified.
