Patchy the autobot says: Cuts time of "make check" by something like 30%.   
Memory profiles go down quite a bit.  Visual changes on  
instrument-switch.ly, chordnames-nochord.ly, fretboard-chordchanges.ly.   
Parsed object should be dead on graphviz.ly.
