gcc (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5.1) 4.4.3
Though, I don't think it makes any sense trying to get newer gcc.
In order to keep my ability to build LilyPond on a 64-bit OS I should
go for a new OS.
My problem here: I love the old Ubuntu and I hate the new version(s)
Now way around new OS now, I guess...
