GCC generally tries to fill in where platforms fall short.  (My piece
of GCC is to
correct broken header files.)  I consider this brokneness, so please
bug report it
to http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html and I will eventually (not too
eventually) see it
and apply a fixincludes fix. Thanks - Bruce
