It sounds good for a start.

The usual assignment papers.

IMHO, It would probably make life easier to do it directly, if it's
going to be more then a few patches (and your level of dedication to
get this right 8-).

I forgot my passwd for Savannah, but Sergey and Jeff(they both
have admin rights) can set this for you.
