Ok, I see.  Yes, the movemail part of mailutils will/should handle
different protocol(if the mailutils distribution was compile with
support for it).

Although, I can not guaranty, we will start to work on it right away(you know
summer .. good weather and all 8).  Sure would like to here the nay's and what
is needed to address a new rewrite of movemail not to repeat the errors of the
past.  At least, the mailing list archive will serve as a repository to go back
for relevant information and design tips.
