Please always provide information about your environment whenever
reporting bugs. At the _very_ least, you need to provide the version of
GNU make you're using.
The GNU make manual contains a section describing the information
I believe a workaround for this particular bug in Windows was
implemented in GNU make over three years ago. Please make sure you're
using a recent version of GNU make; the latest is 3.79.1. GNU make
sources can always be obtained here:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/make/
and its mirrors.
If upgrading to a newer GNU make doesn't help, please re-submit the bug.
